Survey Types

• Demographic and Health Surveys
  DHS surveys provide data for a wide range of monitoring and impact evaluation indicators in the areas of population, health, and nutrition
• AIDS Indicator Surveys (AIS)
  AIS surveys provide countries with a standardized tool to obtain indicators for the effective monitoring of national HIV/AIDS programs
• Service Provision Assessment (SPA) Surveys
  SPA surveys provide information about the characteristics of health and family planning or HIV/AIDS services available in a country
• Other Quantitative Surveys
  Other Quantitative Surveys are non-standard survey types.
