Why dont you include a feature to protect developers from parting with the source to their lazy , and usually
underpaying project developers.
I had to drop cspro just because of that. I of course got a better data entry program ..but ..very time expensive in development .... |

Hi, sorry for my bad english. I'm a french speaker. After right-clicking on a item and choosing "Add a value set", CSPro will display in the main window a table for entering the value set. After entering the last value, I often tape the "Enter" touch on my keybord. If you do it, you can leave the new line you create : a error message will appear : *** VALUE PAIR CONTAINS ERRORS ***. It is not the same when you are entering items to make a data dictionnary. I suggest to disabled this error message. |

when i click ok on the above message box, other error message box is appearing, saying= A 10010 2 syntax error is detected ok.

I've had to resort to code-generators (in Perl) in order to implement repetitive structures in a survey (e.g. cost breakout for several different thematic sections, external file lookup with validation in several places,...). If the CSPro language had a cpp-like preprocessor, argumented macros that simply expand at compile-time would make such developments possible from within CSPro. At least until functions are Real Functions :) |

How hard would it be to have a way of faking input (say, from a recorded session) or using a data file as if it were being typed in, in order to caompare outputs from reference output files. unices. That's how e.g. Corel ported WordPerfect to Linux. Compile your
Windows app against winelib and make it run under Linux. I'm pretty sure a LOT
of people out there would appreciate such a fine piece of software under an
open source environment. It might be much easier than porting the while from
MFC to, say Qt.

allow transactions, backup and other niceties. I'd love to be able to feed a
